First Mate

Genita B. was born August 14, in Chicago, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and a Master of Arts in Health Care Administration. Frat Breakowt will soon be working on a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security. She works in the Technology/Communications field as a Communications Architecture planner all over the world. In her spare time, she likes to travel and experience other cultures; volunteer her time to the youth, study languages, and participate in Western Style Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts competitions. Eventually, Frat Breakowt would like to open a community center for the youth that focuses on team building, discipline, and networking.

Through the professionalism, continued support, and mentorship before becoming a member of Sigma Xi Theta Fraternity Inc, Frat Breakowt knew she had made the best decision for her fraternity home. Once inducted into Sigma Xi Theta Fraternity Inc, Frat Breakowt soon learned that the professionalism, continued support, and mentorship grew ten-fold and she gained a family.

Natessa L. was born and raised in Tyler TX on August 15th. While furthering her career, she moved to Dallas and has been there for 11 years. She now has a career in AV Technologies, Data Technologies, and Welding. This Leo enjoys fishing, shopping, spending time with family, and most of all line dancing. Frat Phoenix’s passion and goal is to one day organize and build a facility that houses the youth transitioning out of foster care. This facility will focus on the youth that doesn’t have anywhere else to go while preparing them for the adulthood.

Sigma Xi Theta presented a challenge to her to become a part of something bigger than herself. She plans to be a mentor one day with the guidance and support of Sigma XI Theta Fraternity.

One quote that she loves is “our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”.

Lia W. was born October 24th in Houston, Texas aka Space City, where she currently resides with her Labrador named Blaq. She likes the diversity of the city and enjoys the rich culture in H-Town. Her Trinidadian roots gives her an eclectic love for food and music. Outside of music, she enjoys sports although she doesn’t have a set team (Carolina Panthers are one of her favorites). She is a sucker for Marvel Comics (X-Men all day!!!) with Jean Grey being her favorite. From time to time, Frat Impact can be found making words on paper come to life through poetry. She currently works as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and plans to continue her education in the Psychology field.

While Searching for a place to call home, her passion to help others and most importantly family are some of the reasons she chose Sigma Xi Theta. The road to Sig Xi was a long one but through hard work and determination she was able to see it through. This water sign wasn’t giving up until she became a Puma.

Johnesha J was born July 3rd, so you know she is a firecracker. She was born and raised in the Lone Star State of Texas where she resides with her wife. She has no children but loves the idea of a family. She has always been into technology and found that passion early on. To further her love for all things techy, she pursued and obtained an Associates in Information Technology along with several certifications to match. She is still furthering her education and plans to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance. Her love for music is pretty extensive and there aren’t many genres she doesn’t love. Outside of music, she loves collecting facts, history and all things Sci-Fi related.

She knew that when she came across Sigma Xi Theta Fraternity she had found her home. She is a true believer of Manifesting your destiny and making sure to influence as many people as she can.

Her favorite quote is “Aspire to Inspire before we Expire”.

Frat Dragonfly s.k.a. Prosper

Kayden M. lives in Chicago, IL. She was born on April 5th. She currently works as a full-time nanny and part-time manager in her family’s construction company. She will continue working on her Associates degree in Animal Science with a minor in Adolescent Psychology in order to become a Veterinarian. Frat DragonFly has one daughter who is her best friend and she gives credits for a lot of accomplishments to her daughter. Frat DragonFly loves eating tacos, spending time with her daughter, working, playing video games, and making people laugh. She enjoys doing hair, listening to music with a deeper meaning, and arts and crafts.

She joined SigXi in hopes of finding a family where she belongs and is accepted. Frat DragonFly soon learned that Sigma Xi Theta was everything she hoped and more.

Her favorite quote is “If you do not sacrifice for what you want. What you want becomes the sacrifice.” Kayden plans to continue growing with support from Sigma Xi Theta.
